Description du poste

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support engagement with embassies, High Commissions, multilateral agencies, and federal institutions
  • Identify, map, and track relevant institutional, diplomatic, and development leads aligned with WACN’s work (conservation, security, communities, climate)
  • Coordinate meetings, briefings, and structured follow-ups with government and international partners
  • Prepare short briefing notes, talking points, and updates to support senior leadership
  • Maintain continuity and momentum across institutional conversations and introductions
Required Profile
  • Strong familiarity with Abuja’s institutional, diplomatic, or policy ecosystem
  • Experience working around government, embassies, international organisations, NGOs, consultancies, or development programmes
  • Comfortable engaging professionally with senior stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, discreet, and reliable
Additional Notes
  • Abuja-based (or demonstrable, active presence in Abuja required)
  • This is not a junior administrative role
  • The role will begin on a part-time / retainer contract basis, with scope to scale based on performance and organisational growth
  • Prior conservation experience is welcome but not essential — institutional literacy and judgement matter more
