Geophysicist III at Habrams Energy

About the Role

Habrams Energy seeks an experienced Geophysicist III to support and enhance 2D/3D seismic and wellbore acquisition programs across the organization. In this role, you will interface with operating groups, technical specialists, and vendors to provide comprehensive 2D/3D seismic and borehole seismic survey acquisition solutions that safely meet organizational goals and commitments. You may also serve as a Formation Evaluation Specialist.

Main Responsibilities

• Support and manage 2D/3D seismic and wellbore acquisition programs across the company
• Collaborate with operating groups, technical specialists, and vendors on seismic and borehole solutions
• Apply post-stack and pre-stack seismic inversion and AVO analysis
• Conduct seismic attribute analysis to define structural and depositional environments and facies
• Apply geophysical expertise to unconventional plays
• Interpret gravity and magnetic data
• Provide technical guidance on seismic processing and acquisition operations
• Mentor and coach team members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in Geotechnical or Geophysical Engineering
• Previous experience in a closely related geophysics position
• Strong background in geology and geophysical interpretation
• Extensive experience with carbonate reservoirs
• Advanced petrophysical analysis skills in siliciclastic settings
• Sound knowledge of seismic processing and acquisition operations
• Strong structural geology background with experience across all tectonic systems, geologic environments, and reservoir types
• Knowledge of local petroleum geology as a minimum requirement
