Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated senior executive to lead the stewardship, commercialisation, and protection of a prestigious music and entertainment awards platform. The General Manager will be responsible for preserving brand prestige while maximising sponsorship revenue, partnerships, and event profitability.
This cyclical yet high-impact role requires exceptional relationship management, negotiation capability, and brand sensitivity. Success will be measured by sponsorship value secured, profit margins per awards cycle, global partnerships, media reach, and sustained brand equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own, protect, and grow the awards brand and intellectual property
- Lead sponsorship acquisition and high-value partnership negotiations
- Oversee end-to-end awards planning, production, and delivery
- Drive international partnerships and market expansion
- Manage public relations, stakeholder trust, and reputation risk
- Ensure profitability and commercial success of each awards cycle
Requirements
- Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in events, entertainment, brand management, or partnerships
- Proven experience managing high-profile events or premium cultural intellectual properties
