General Assistant - Stores

About the Role

Multi Marine Electrical is seeking a dedicated General Assistant for our Stores department in Milnerton. This role is essential to maintaining efficient operations in our boatyard, ensuring proper stock management and supporting our team.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Minimum Grade 10 Certificate
• No prior store experience required
• Strong English reading and writing skills

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the boatyard has correct stock in order to complete jobs
• Inspect packages for damages
• Keep track of short-supplied stock distributed to boat yards
• Accurately measure and cut cable to required specifications
• Label cut cables with size, length, and customer name
• Bundle cables for scheduled delivery
• Complete timesheets and job cards correctly
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required
