## Title: GCP Specialist / Engineer

Job Summary

We are recruiting a GCP Specialist/Engineer who will be responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure solutions within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute the transition of on-premises or other cloud workloads to GCP using tools like Migration Center or Database Migration Service
Monitor resource utilization through Cloud Billing and FinOps strategies to minimize cloud expenditure while maintaining performance
Monitor performance, availability, and costs
Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Deployment Manager
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues
Document architecture and operational procedures

Required Skills & Experience

GCP certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent)
Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform
Strong knowledge of core GCP services and architecture
Experience with IAM, networking, and cloud security
Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar languages)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Understanding of DevOps and cloud-native best practices

Compensation

Monthly salary: ₦500,000
