## Title: Front Desk Officer

About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Front Desk Officer to join their team. This role is central to creating a professional and welcoming first impression for all visitors and callers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and register visitors professionally and notify relevant staff of visitor arrival
  • Sign in visitors using the log book/tags provided
  • Contact relevant company personnel to ensure visitors are attended to
  • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and courteously
  • Keep visitors informed at all times of delays or changes to arrangements
  • Provide any other assistance required in a willing, pleasant, and professional manner
  • Deal with difficult situations in an assertive and friendly manner
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
  • Receive, log, and sign incoming mail and distribute within the hour
  • Source and provide relevant information to callers as appropriate
  • Monitor visitor access and ensure compliance with company security protocols

Educational Requirements

  • HND or BSc in any discipline, preferably in Social Sciences
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Receptionist or in Customer Service
