Fleet Coordinator at Reime West Africa Limited

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Fleet Coordinator to oversee and manage the company's vehicle fleet. In this role, you will ensure that all vehicles are safe, efficient, and compliant with current regulations while optimizing fleet performance and controlling operational costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet operations, ensuring vehicles meet safety, efficiency, and regulatory standards
• Optimize fleet performance while maintaining cost efficiency
• Provide leadership, support, and expertise to the fleet management team
• Ensure compliance with vehicle safety regulations, emissions standards, permits, and driver certifications
• Manage day-to-day fleet operations to ensure optimal efficiency
• Control and manage fleet costs, including fuel, repairs, insurance, and leasing
• Manage supply chain and vehicle life cycles
• Manage driver schedules and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Communicate with drivers to ensure awareness of schedules and responsibilities
• Coordinate with mechanics to schedule vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Perform periodic vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working order
• Coordinate with management to develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures
• Monitor and analyze fleet data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and present fleet operations reports to management
• Liaise with Company Health & Safety employees to ensure consistent safety practices aligned with industry best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Proven experience in fleet management

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with vehicle tracking systems
• Proven experience in fleet management with a specific focus on cars and vans
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle allocation, servicing, and maintenance
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and lease companies
• Proficiency in generating detailed reports and data analysis
