## Title: Finance Manager - Reporting and Revenue Control

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Finance Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This role focuses on financial reporting, revenue control, and accounting operations, with key responsibilities spanning external reporting coordination, management accounts preparation, and revenue recognition oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the external reporting process with NATCOM and work with the team to close outstanding years with external auditors
  • Prepare management accounts and establish processes towards migration to a new ERP system
  • Ensure all control accounts are reconciled and properly maintained; document and recommend significant journals to establish controls
  • Provide oversight over revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS 15 and related accounting standards
  • Report on customer balances and age analysis
  • Conduct margin and contribution analysis
  • Provide guidance and support to subordinates
  • Act as a business partner to the Sales Team on revenue initiatives, development, and control implementation
  • Establish the framework to enable compliance with FRC's guidance on Internal Control Over Financial Reporting
  • Perform other functions as assigned by the Financial Controller

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Professional Certification in Accounting (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or similar) is required

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Experience with financial operations, treasury operations, cash management, or accounts payable/receivable functions
  • Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial transaction processing and reporting
  • Demonstrable experience performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
  • Experience processing high volumes of financial transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Experience in the telecommunications sector or similar fast-paced industry is an advantage
