About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of financial excellence and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Assist in developing and monitoring annual budgets and financial plans
• Analyse variances between actual and budgeted expenditures and provide actionable insights

Cash Flow Management

• Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs
• Reconcile bank statements and manage financial transactions effectively

Revenue Stream Modelling

• Develop credit assessment and scoring models
• Define loan approval criteria and risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor portfolio health and loan defaults
• Track loan disbursements, repayments, and financial performance

Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
• Prepare financial statements for investors or funding partners
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries
• Coordinate with external partners, such as banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities, when required

Human Resources Coordination

• Work closely with the HR Officer to manage PAYE remittance, pension contributions, and monthly employee salary payments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in accounting or financial management
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho
