Finance Manager at Sujimoto Construction Limited

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Finance Manager to lead and manage a finance team while overseeing all financial operations. You will support strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health of the organization. This role requires strong people management skills, expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial activities while providing insights that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Lead and manage the finance team
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to management
• Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Present financial results and KPIs to senior leadership
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and payroll
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax laws, and internal policies
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and ensure timely resolution of findings
• Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, and ensure optimal working capital levels
• Oversee banking relationships and support financing activities
• Implement controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risks
• Enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy
• Implement internal controls and ensure adherence across the organization
• Lead or support automation and digital transformation initiatives in finance

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
• Strong people management skills
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning systems
