## Title: Finance Manager

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Elevated HR Limited as Finance Manager. The position is based in Lagos, specifically along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective running of day-to-day activities of the Accounts/Finance department
  • Manage and oversee the company's financial systems
  • Manage financial reporting for the organization, including monthly financial reports, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory financial reporting
  • Ensure that financial reports comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Provide sound financial support and insights to enable the organization to make critical business decisions
  • Review and monitor operating expenses
  • Present financial results and insights to stakeholders
  • Handle tax matters, tax planning, and other regulatory compliance requirements
  • Manage External Auditor relationships and ensure the organization is compliant with accounting standards
  • Manage and oversee the company's banking and borrowing arrangements
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions
  • Advise on and implement best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs
  • Manage and track budget and performance reviews
  • Review all formal finance policies and procedures
  • Manage relationships with regulatory and statutory bodies (e.g., LIRS, FIRS)
  • Stay abreast of new developments in reporting, tax, and other regulatory requirements to ensure compliance

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BSc/HND in Accounting or business-related field
  • Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
  • Experience in the power, energy, oil and gas industry is essential
  • Good knowledge of treasury functions, forex management, and letters of credit
