Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Finance Assistant/Intern to join our finance team. This role supports day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, and reporting in a fast-paced environment, with hands-on learning opportunities for recent graduates pursuing a career in Finance and Accounting.

Core Function

Provide administrative, clerical, and operational support to the finance team, ensuring efficient record-keeping and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized digital and physical files for all finance documents
• Assist with data entry, reconciliation, and petty cash management
• Handle correspondence between the finance team, staff, and vendors
• Maintain and update the pending payment schedule
• Ensure all supporting documents for payments and receipts are properly filed and retrievable
• Carry out clerical tasks required in the finance department and any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department

Requirements and Skills

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or related field
• 2:1 degree or higher
• 1+ years of post-NYSC experience in finance or accounting
