## Title: Field Sales Representative – Plastics Industry

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Field Sales Representative to join our team across multiple locations (Sango Ota, Asaba, Lagos, and Kano). You will be responsible for driving sales growth in the plastics industry through prospecting, client engagement, and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential customers in your designated territory using cold-calling, networking, and industry events to generate new leads
  • Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their needs, demonstrate product features and benefits, and present tailored solutions
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, present proposals and quotations, negotiate prices and terms, and close sales to achieve individual and team targets
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers, maintaining strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments to maintain a competitive edge and identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, customer information, and sales performance in a CRM system
  • Provide regular sales reports to management
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless product delivery

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the plastics industry
  • Demonstrated track record in B2B sales or as a sales representative, with evidence of meeting sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools
  • Knowledge of the plastics industry
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
