Fashion Apparel Designers / Instructors

Position Overview

IDMANN Institute is seeking a creative, skilled, and experienced Fashion Apparel Designer and Instructor to design garments and train students and trainees in fashion design and garment production. The ideal candidate will have strong practical skills, creativity, and the ability to teach and mentor aspiring designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop apparel collections and custom garments
• Create patterns and supervise garment production
• Teach students and trainees fashion design principles and sewing techniques
• Train learners on pattern drafting, cutting, and finishing techniques
• Ensure quality control in garment production
• Guide students in creative development and project execution
• Maintain a well-organized and safe training and production environment

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion & Textile Technology, Fine & Applied Arts (Fashion Option), or related field
• Proven experience in fashion design and garment production
• Strong pattern drafting and garment construction skills
• Ability to operate industrial sewing machines
• Good communication and teaching skills
• Creative, detail-oriented, and organized approach to work

Added Advantages

• Certification in fashion design or tailoring
