Factory Supervisor at RA Trading

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Factory Supervisor to oversee daily furniture production operations within our facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and with high-quality standards, while guaranteeing that all finished products meet company specifications and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily factory operations to meet production schedules
• Monitor workflow to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime
• Allocate tasks to workers based on skills and production requirements
• Ensure all furniture produced meets company quality standards
• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products
• Implement corrective actions to address defects or process inefficiencies
• Lead, train, and motivate factory workers, machine operators, and assistants
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
• Resolve conflicts, maintain discipline, and enforce company policies
• Enforce health and safety regulations within the factory
• Ensure workers use protective equipment and follow safe operating procedures
• Report and address safety hazards promptly
• Oversee usage of raw materials, tools, and machinery
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure availability of required materials
• Minimize waste and optimize resource utilization
• Maintain accurate production records, daily reports, and performance logs
• Provide management with updates on productivity, challenges, and improvement suggestions
• Assist in implementing new processes and technologies to boost efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Wood Technology, or related field
• Proven experience of 5–10 years as a Supervisor or similar role in furniture manufacturing or related industry
