Facility Manager at Mama Cass

Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members
• Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, including offices, conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor recreation spaces
• Perform routine maintenance on facilities and make repairs as needed
• Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
• Ensure proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with vendors and managing costs
• Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, including delegating or completing maintenance orders on all company equipment
• Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for supervisors and relevant staff
• Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions
• Collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Management, Science, Business, or related field from an accredited institution
• 4–5 years of experience in facilities/office services (operations, maintenance, security, housekeeping), preferably in a Quick Service Restaurant environment
• Experience coordinating and establishing new offices and project management
• Prior work experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, complex, and high-visibility organization in the hospitality and Quick Service Restaurant sectors
• Proven experience leading a team and managing tasks to meet deadlines
• Experience with information services, equipment recording, and equipment maintenance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Flexible, well-organized approach with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines while producing high-quality work
