Experienced Project Quality Engineer at Karbak Ventures Limited

About the Role

We are looking to hire a Project Quality Engineer to oversee all aspects of quality management for our projects. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.

The Project Quality Engineer will be engaged in inspecting materials, processes, and products, ensuring compliance with new and existing quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management actions, and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures. You will provide quality support to projects from the planning phase through project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the organization's quality management system
• Develop and manage all welding-related documentation as required by clients and organizational procedures
• Monitor and report on all project activities, processes, and procedures
• Develop internal auditing tools and conduct internal quality audits and reports
• Determine data-driven solutions and implement quality improvement plans
• Perform regular inspections of projects to ensure employees adhere to quality standards
• Assist with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures
• Provide projects with quality planning and support
• Conduct or assist with regulatory and quality training sessions
• Prepare and maintain quality management documentation

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or any relevant course
• 2+ years of experience working with quality management systems
• 2+ years of work experience in a steel fabrication environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills

Compensation

N200,000 - N240,000 Monthly
