Experienced Furniture Company Carpenter

Position Overview

Marsand Bespoke Joinery Limited seeks an experienced Furniture Carpenter to manufacture, assemble, and install high-quality furniture products according to design specifications and company standards. This role requires strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture custom and standard furniture pieces based on drawings and measurements
• Cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and wood-based materials
• Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Install furniture at client sites when required
• Ensure high-quality finishing, accuracy, and durability of all products
• Repair, modify, or refurbish furniture as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times
• Work collaboratively with designers, supervisors, and production teams

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a furniture carpenter or joiner
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and furniture construction
• Ability to work with MDF, plywood, hardwood, laminates, and veneers
• Experience using woodworking machines (saws, routers, planers, sanders)
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Physical strength and stamina for workshop and site work
