Environment, Health and Safety Manager at MacTay Consulting

Job Purpose

The ESHS Manager must have power plant operation experience and the ability to ensure sound environmental and social performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage environmental, health, and safety performance across operations
• Ensure compliance with international environmental and social standards
• Oversee stakeholder engagement and social performance initiatives
• Handle conflict and grievance management processes

Education Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or similar field

Experience Requirements

• 10 years of professional experience in health and safety
• 5 years of working experience in power generation
• 3 years of experience (or academic equivalent) in social performance, stakeholder engagement, conflict and grievance management
• Knowledge of international best practices in environmental and social matters
• Knowledge of Nigerian environmental and social laws and regulations
