About the Role

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Project Engineer (Intern). You will gain hands-on experience in project management while supporting the execution of projects from conception through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout execution to ensure adherence to scope, budget, and timeline standards
• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals
• Coordinate various stakeholders and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation
• Monitor project progress continuously and prepare detailed scheduled reports on measurable items such as milestones and deliverables
• Plan work activities and assign appropriate duties to personnel
• Coordinate tasks across multiple team members and sites to ensure consistency upon project completion
• Ensure timely project completion to build client trust while avoiding unnecessary penalties
• Manage project budgets by accurately estimating costs and eliminating unnecessary expenses
• Procure and allocate resources to prevent shortages and avoid delays
• Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements
• Analyze project economics and provide actionable feedback relating to cost-benefit and return-on-investment standards
• Review proposed modifications to project plans and coordinate with stakeholders to approve and implement beneficial changes
• Oversee acquisition of resources and materials by liaising with customers, team members, contractors, vendors, and internal accounting personnel
• Negotiate pricing and payment agreements with vendors
• Anticipate requirements for future projects through proactive communication and planning
