## Title: Elevator Sales Prospector

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Lead Hunter to drive the front end of our sales pipeline. This role is exclusively focused on identifying, qualifying, and cultivating high-potential leads for new elevator installations, modernization projects, and long-term maintenance contracts across Lagos and key regions in Nigeria. You are the scout who finds the opportunity, engages the key players, and secures the critical first meetings for our sales team to close.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting (70%)

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new construction projects (commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial) and existing buildings with modernization potential
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads using a combination of online research, industry databases, networking, and strategic cold outreach
  • Identify and map key stakeholders for each project, including developers, project owners, M&E consultants, architects, and main contractors
  • Execute a multi-channel outreach strategy (email, phone, LinkedIn, strategic site visits) to initiate contact and generate interest in JMG solutions
  • Qualify leads based on the BAN criteria (Budget, Authority, Need) before handing them over to the sales team

Relationship & Intelligence Building (20%)

  • Attend industry events, property conferences, and construction forums to expand JMG's network and gather project intelligence
  • Develop and nurture relationships with specifiers and influencers (e.g., consulting firms, architectural practices)
  • Gather critical project intelligence (timeline, budget range, competitor involvement, decision-making process)

Pipeline Management & Collaboration (10%)

  • Accurately log and track all lead activities and intelligence in the company CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and Technical Sales team to ensure smooth handover and follow-up on qualified leads
