Electrical Technician – Level 1 at Fort Knox Group

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Technician (Level 1) to join our technical team. The successful candidate will assist senior electricians in installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop essential technical skills in a structured, safety-conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside senior electricians, assisting in all electrical tasks
• Support the installation of cable containment systems, conduits, and cabling
• Assist in the termination and fixing of light fittings, switches, sockets, and related devices
• Help maintain clean and organized work areas
• Load and off-load electrical materials and tools on-site
• Support testing, inspection, and documentation activities as directed by supervisors
• Carry out any other related duties as assigned by the project or site engineer

Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) Responsibilities

• Always perform work safely to protect yourself and others
• Follow health and safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
• Adhere to company safety signs and operational policies
• Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures and the location of safety equipment
• Promote environmental awareness by reducing waste and conserving energy

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Certificate, Trade Test, or OND in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in an electrical or construction environment (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
• Ability to read simple electrical diagrams is an advantage
