About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to supervise electrical and instrumentation activities on their projects. You will oversee contractor compliance, manage engineering documentation, and ensure all work meets company specifications and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on Contractor activities related to electrical and instrumentation matters, ensuring compliance with Company/Project specifications and contract documentation requirements
• Manage all Construction Engineering Documentation with the Contractor and report to Construction Manager
• Monitor procurement, construction, expediting activities, and assist in pre-commissioning for discipline-related activities
• Track and follow up on Contractor activities in the electrical and instrumentation discipline, ensuring compliance with General Specifications, Codes, and Standards
• Ensure technical quality of Contractor construction deliverables including procedures, data sheets, area classification drawings, records, layouts, single line diagrams, MCC schematics, and distribution panel schematics
• Participate in electrical design and engineering activities at the Contractor site
• Ensure compliance with storage, preservation, and protection requirements of rotating machinery equipment at package vendor facilities and on site
• Review and comment on Contractor documents within ten working days
• Anticipate problems in the discipline and inform Company Engineering Manager proactively
• Highlight and report any deficiencies or changes to the contractual scope of work and basis of design
• Immediately inform management of any deviations, risks, or concerns related to HSE, technical, planning, or cost issues
• Review and analyse planning updates including critical path analysis for discipline-related activities; review and approve progress, and coordinate with Company Engineering Manager
• Ensure that Contractor resources and organization are adequate and competent for achieving engineering and procurement works
• Prepare responses to all technical queries from Contractor and Project teams
