Electrical Engineer - Office Design

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as an Electrical Engineer focused on office design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review power distribution, LV/MV/HV systems, and switchgear layouts
• Prepare electrical datasheets, specifications, and load lists
• Coordinate cable routing, earthing, lighting, and power supply systems
• Oversee procurement, FAT, and installation of electrical equipment
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and local electrical standards
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Interface with mechanical and instrumentation teams for electrical integration

Required Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)

Experience Required

• 8 – 10 years in chemical/process plants
• FEED & EPC execution of electrical systems
• Proven experience in electrical design and execution in chemical plants
• Experience managing contractors and vendor coordination
• Chlor-Alkali specific electrical requirements knowledge

Functional Skills

• Knowledge of LV, MV, and HV electrical systems
• Transformer, switchgear, motor, and protection system knowledge
• AutoCAD / Electrical design software proficiency
• Knowledge of hazardous area classification (ATEX / IECEx) for chlorine areas
• Electrical load calculation and power factor correction
