Electrical Engineer – Level 2 at Fort Knox Group

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Electrical Engineer (Level 2) to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in designing electrical installations, prepare workshop and as-built drawings, and provide on-site technical support. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a developing engineer with foundational experience to grow within a professional and safety-conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing electrical installations in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
• Prepare workshop drawings for ongoing projects
• Prepare as-built drawings for completed projects
• Develop distribution board schedules and perform load calculations
• Carry out preliminary quantification of required materials
• Assist in the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals for completed projects
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support as required
• Ensure all electrical works meet approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the project engineer or supervisor

Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) Responsibilities

• Follow all company health and safety procedures and policies
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety signage
• Report hazards, defects, incidents, and near misses immediately
• Participate in safety briefings and emergency drills
• Promote environmental awareness, waste reduction, and energy efficiency on site

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in electrical design or construction projects
• Experience with workshop drawing preparation and site coordination is an advantage
