A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join their team in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with set schedules
• Assist the Lead Engineer with automation and electrical design and maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot control panels
• Diagnose and resolve PLC-related problems
• Perform PLC programming
• Design and implement automated systems for diverse manufacturing and production environments
• Design and program new processes as they arise and are required
• Work collaboratively in a team to achieve daily shift targets
• Support existing automation technology with component and process upgrades
• Maintain a tidy work environment and adhere to industry regulations
• Undertake any other related tasks as may be required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• At least 5 years of working experience as an Electrical Engineer
• Previous or current experience working in a manufacturing company
• Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with the design and implementation of automated systems, particularly in manufacturing
• Strong ability with software testing and validation
• Good communication and organizational skills
