Electrical & Electronics Technician at Sobaz Nigeria Limited

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and electronic systems
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, sockets, lighting, UPS, inverters, air-conditioning units, and related equipment
• Maintain and service electronic devices such as CCTV, access control systems, fire alarms, intercoms, and other facility-related systems
• Diagnose faults and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime and ensure smooth facility operations
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, electrical regulations, and organizational policies
• Maintain accurate records of electrical and electronic maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventories
• Provide technical support during facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and utility providers when required
• Monitor energy consumption and recommend cost-saving and efficiency measures
• Support emergency response by ensuring backup power systems (generators, inverters, solar, etc.) are functional

Qualifications & Requirements

• OND (Ordinary National Diploma), HND (Higher National Diploma), Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (for HND holders or equivalent)
