About This Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Read and interpret Piping & Instrument Diagrams, loop drawings, wiring schematics, and specifications
• Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain various systems such as ESD, VFD, PLC, and others
• Install and calibrate end devices such as pressure transducers, speed controllers, RTUs, loop controllers, and valve positioners
• Perform retrofit and modification to existing electrical systems
• Work with ethernet networks, including installation and testing as needed
• Troubleshoot and repair Low Voltage (12V to 48V) systems
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and/or install medium voltage (120-480 VAC) systems, including generators and panels
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC or HMI electrical panels (a plus)
• Perform switchboard maintenance and troubleshooting (a plus)
• Conduct IR survey activities (a plus)
• Perform primary breaker injection testing (a plus)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of experience as an E&I Technician in an offshore environment
• Knowledge and understanding of NFPA (NEC), API, and UL508A standards
• CompEX certification (a plus)
