The ideal candidate combines economic reasoning, financial modeling expertise, and excellent writing ability to craft insightful commentaries, reports, and publications on economic and policy issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct economic and financial research on national, regional, and global trends
• Develop and maintain economic and financial models to support data-backed insights
• Write high-quality articles, reports, and analyses on topics spanning the economy, policy, business, and markets
• Interpret and communicate complex economic data and indicators in accessible language
• Collaborate with editorial and research teams to produce thought leadership materials
• Monitor macroeconomic indicators, fiscal and monetary policies, and market developments

Requirements

• A First-Class or Strong Second-Class Upper degree in Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or any quantitative discipline
• Recent graduate
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas
• Analytical thinker with solid understanding of economic principles and trends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of analytical tools (R, Python, or Stata) is an advantage
