This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. You will plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across Business Studies, Economics, and Accounting for KS3 and KS4 students in a British National Curriculum context.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in Business Studies, Economics, and Accounting for KS3 and KS4 students
• Teach according to the British National Curriculum, preparing students for (I)GCSE examinations (including Cambridge IGCSE and AQA GCSE)
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes interest in learning
• Assess students' classwork and assignments, and maintain comprehensive assessment records
• Implement the school's teaching and learning policy, following procedures for assessing, recording, and reporting student progress
• Set targets for further improvement in line with whole-school policy
• Support students' development of critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills
• Provide learning interventions across all three disciplines for students who require them
• Monitor and report on student progress regularly
• Keep subject attendance and updated assessment records at all times
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, school training, and whole-school events
• Contribute to the development of schemes of work and curriculum resources
• Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ensure safeguarding and protect the welfare of children and young people

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Studies, or a closely related field
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, TRCN)
• Minimum of 6 years proven experience teaching Business Studies, Economics, and/or Accounting at KS3 and KS4 level
• Preferably experience within a British curriculum international context
• A strong track record of achieving excellent student outcomes at (I)GCSE level
