About the Role

Palmiers Schools is seeking a qualified and passionate Early Nursery Classroom Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment for children ages 1–5 years. You will play a crucial role in supporting early childhood development and preparing children for a smooth transition into primary education.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement a nurturing, structured, and play-based learning environment for children
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities that develop language, numeracy, creativity, and social-emotional skills
• Introduce basic literacy and numeracy concepts to prepare children for primary school
• Establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and child-friendly classroom setting
• Observe and assess children's development, maintain accurate records, and share feedback with parents and school management
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Participate actively in school improvement initiatives and extracurricular activities
• Model the values of patience, kindness, and excellence in all interactions with children and team members
• Support the overall mission of Palmiers Schools

Requirements

• NCE, B.Ed., or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in an early childhood or nursery school setting
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and learning methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan creatively and engage children through play, music, storytelling, and hands-on activities
• Warm, patient demeanor with a genuine passion for working with children
• Commitment to shaping young minds and contributing to school community growth
