## Title: Early Years Educator (Nursery Ages 3–5)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and committed Nursery Teachers to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting and extending the learning of children aged 3 to 5 years through high-quality teaching, play-based learning, and nurturing care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the British Early Years Curriculum
  • Support children's learning through play-based activities and hands-on engagement
  • Teach phonics and early mathematics and literacy using developmentally appropriate strategies
  • Support handwriting development in young learners
  • Create and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to meet diverse learner needs
  • Promote emotional, social, and educational development
  • Design and maintain stimulating classroom displays of high standard
  • Create vibrant indoor and outdoor learning environments
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective teaching practices

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum academic qualification: B.Ed., B.A., B.Sc., HND, or PGDE in Early Childhood Education or English from a recognised institution
  • Minimum 2–3 years post-qualification experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable understanding of the British Early Years Curriculum
  • Ability to teach phonics, or willingness to be trained in phonics instruction
  • Competence in teaching early mathematics and literacy with understanding of developmentally appropriate strategies
  • Experience supporting handwriting development in young learners
  • Creative teaching skills in music, dance, drama, and arts & crafts
  • Excellent English language skills (written, spoken, and reading)
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, internet browsing)
  • Strong classroom management and effective teaching skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate young learners through play-based learning
  • Enthusiastic, innovative, and dynamic approach to teaching
