E-commerce Specialist at Impact HER Africa

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic E-Commerce Specialist to lead our digital commerce strategy and support entrepreneurs in building and optimizing online stores. You will help businesses access broader markets through e-commerce platforms, manage partnerships, oversee training programs, and drive digital growth initiatives that directly impact SMEs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement e-commerce strategies for businesses participating in our programs
• Support entrepreneurs in setting up and managing online stores across multiple platforms (Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, Jumia, Etsy, and others)
• Conduct training sessions and workshops on digital marketing, online sales, and marketplace optimization
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to enhance business performance
• Collaborate with internal teams on digital transformation projects
• Build and maintain partnerships with marketplaces, payment solution providers, and logistics companies
• Track and report on program impact and online business performance metrics

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, ICT, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online marketplace management
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, SEO/SEM, and online customer journey optimization
• Experience delivering training or capacity-building programs (preferred)
• Passion for economic empowerment and inclusive digital growth
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
