A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role.
Major Responsibilities
- Safely and promptly deliver customer orders to various locations.
- Ensure proper handling and loading/unloading of goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required signatures.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Inspect vehicle daily and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Comply with all traffic rules, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent with 1-3 years experience.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Proven experience as a Driver, Dispatch rider Assistant, or Logistics driver (E-commerce experience is an advantage).
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading.
- Honest, reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.
- Familiarity with major routes within Anambra and surrounding states.
- Ability to maintain and complete basic vehicle records and reports.
- Must be punctual, responsible, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.
