Data Analyst / Tender Buyer

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join the Supply Chain office. In this role, you will report to the Supply Chain Coordinator and play a key part in ensuring the company's objectives are met through data-driven insights and procurement support.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations for executive-level communication as requested
• Identify valuable insights from mathematical and statistical analysis of available data to ensure a smoother ramp-up period for the terminal
• Manage high-volume workload proactively to consistently high standards by setting priorities, objectives, and target dates
• Apply process improvement approaches across all aspects of work, identifying and implementing efficient administrative practices while anticipating future support needs
• Support various improvements and optimizations by providing data-driven perspectives
• Act as a strategic partner for management by providing data-based insights in various operational areas
• Serve as a focal point collaborating across departments to develop the business intelligence solution
• Promote the self-service business intelligence solution and support the organization's learning curve as a super user
• Oversee reporting of all operational performance indicators, both internally and externally
• Fulfill the tender buyer role within the procurement unit
• Deliver high-quality data visualizations as required

Required Qualifications

• More than 2 years of experience as a data analyst or in a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and other statistical tools
• Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks
• Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solutions recommendations
• Strong capability to translate business requirements into non-technical, understandable terms
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player with ability to work independently
