About the Role

An established company is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. This role involves managing data systems, generating reports, and identifying process improvements to support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Update SMD dashboard information on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Generate SMD daily, weekly, and monthly reject waste reports
• Maintain presence during end-of-month stock taking activities
• Ensure conformance with all EHS rules and regulations
• Document all SMD shift reports and prepare spiral binding of all reports
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics strategies, and other approaches that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases and data systems

Requirements and Skills

• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (such as Business Objects), databases (such as SQL), and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Compensation

N173,000 per month
