About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Cybersecurity Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying enterprise cybersecurity solutions, providing operational support and monitoring, and delivering first-line support for networking and security issues across various organizational sizes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy new enterprise cybersecurity solutions, operational support, and monitoring
• Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot SOAR, SIEM solutions, Next-Generation Firewall products, Network Access Control, Privilege Account Management, and Endpoint Protection systems
• Support products including Sophos, ManageEngine, Crowdstrike, Rapid7, Portnox, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and CimTrak
• Provide first-line support for all networking and security issues for SMEs, mid-size, and enterprise clients
• Deploy cybersecurity solutions tailored to SMEs, mid-size, and enterprise environments
• Collaborate with Sales and Lead Security Engineers on related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Engineering or Science
• Minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC field experience
• Current certification: Security+, CCNA, CCNA Security, or CEH

Preferred Certifications

• Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE)
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Detection and Remediation Analyst (PCDRA)
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Automation Engineer (PCSAE)

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting endpoint protection solutions
• Experience with network infrastructure monitoring solutions
• Experience with network perimeter firewalls and Security Information Event Management (SIEM) solutions
• Specialization in Networking and Information Security
• Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
• Knowledge of network services (DNS, SMTP, NAT, SNMP)
• Basic proficiency in Python or another programming language
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
