Job Summary
Hotel Capitol seeks a dedicated Customer Service Representative to attend to guests and customers with professionalism and excellence. This role is responsible for handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a consistently positive customer experience. The position requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a commitment to service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and customers politely and provide accurate information about hotel services
- Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly
- Maintain a positive, helpful, and respectful attitude with all interactions
- Ensure customer satisfaction and follow up on unresolved issues
- Maintain proper records of customer interactions and transactions
- Work closely with other departments to resolve customer concerns efficiently
- Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and service standards
- Handle telephone calls, messages, and walk-in customers with efficiency and courtesy
- Maintain a clean and professional front office or service area
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: OND, HND, or B.Sc in any relevant field
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service (hotel, retail, or service industry preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Polite, patient, and customer-oriented demeanor
- Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult customers calmly
- Well-groomed and professional appearance at all times
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email)
- Honest, reliable, and punctual
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
