## Title: Corporate Sales Representative - Life Insurance

About the Role

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in corporate insurance sales. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business from corporate clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue new corporate clients in target industries including banking, oil & gas, manufacturing, and telecommunications
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision makers in client organizations
  • Ensure timely renewal of corporate accounts and upselling of additional insurance products

Sales Operations & Negotiations

  • Prepare and present tailored insurance proposals to clients
  • Negotiate contract terms and close profitable deals in line with company policy
  • Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to ensure smooth policy onboarding and servicing

Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure all sales processes comply with NAICOM regulations and company guidelines
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to Branch Head

Brand Representation

  • Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and client meetings
  • Promote the company's brand image and value proposition in the corporate market

Required Qualifications

Education

  • B.Sc in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field (minimum of second class lower)
  • CLIN or any related professional certification (preferred)

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate sales, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • In-depth knowledge of life insurance products
  • Strong network within Nigeria's corporate sector (advantageous)
