A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Summary
  • We are seeking a skilled and creative Cook to lead our hotel kitchen operations and deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning menus, preparing meals, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and present meals that meet hotel quality standards and guest expectations.
  • Develop menus, including daily specials, considering seasonal availability, guest preferences, and cost control.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Ensure proper portion control, minimize food wastage, and maintain cost-effective kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas into menu offerings.
  • Work closely with the hotel management team to plan for special events, banquets, and catering services.
  • Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Interested candidates should possess a Culinary School qualification with 2 years work experience.
