Job Summary

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Compounding Operator to ensure optimal and safe operation of compounding equipment. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of equipment settings and operations, with responsibility for maintaining safety standards, equipment functionality, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce all safety rules, regulations, and departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Operate compounding equipment optimally while maintaining safe working practices
• Compound emulsions of different variants and other products as required
• Mix and compound materials with correctly weighed raw materials in alignment with weighing sheets and internal work instructions (IWI)
• Coordinate with the Weighing operator to ensure availability of raw materials and satisfy production plans
• Perform equipment maintenance and monitor equipment functionality
• Ensure adherence to operational checklists, working instructions, and equipment standard operating procedures
• Optimize mixer running time to minimize bulk waiting time at filling lines
• Maintain strict adherence to process order and proper documentation at all times

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Second Class Lower degree in BSc/HND Sciences and Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or Chemical Engineering)
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in FMCG or cosmetics industries
• Good knowledge of computer software applications, such as MS Office
• Experience with major change processes

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of SAP (materials requisition)
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence tools
• Ability to take on technical projects
