Compliance and Internal Auditor at mDoc Healthcare

Position Overview

mDoc is seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic problem-solver to join our organization on a contractual basis during our next stage of development. We are looking for a Compliance and Internal Auditor with a strong work ethic, analytical mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will deliver quality work consistently, communicate effectively across all departments, and demonstrate critical thinking skills with a genuine interest in strengthening the organization's internal control structure. Top candidates will possess exceptional presentation and report writing skills, along with strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and perform operational audits to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, corporate standards, and generally accepted internal audit standards
• Identify, assess, and mitigate business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely audit information is reported to Management and the Risk Management Committee of the Board
• Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported cases of concern
• Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes
• Develop and implement best business audit practices in line with applicable internal audit standards, including project audits
• Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement
• Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations

Required Qualifications

• Degree in internal auditing, financial accounting, or financial management (essential)
• Five or more years of work experience in an internal audit environment
• Experience with international grants such as GIZ and USAID
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
