## Title: Commercial Sales Executive – Logistics

About the Role

Our client is a trusted partner in the dynamic logistics industry, committed to delivering innovative, cost-effective, and integrated supply chain solutions. They help shippers move products seamlessly from point of production to point of consumption. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to drive business growth and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets set by the company
  • Identify and acquire new commercial clients to expand the customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
  • Lead generation, sales presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to win new business and increase revenue
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports and documentation
  • Ensure key account activities for A & B customers are aligned with agreed KPIs, including timely and quality reporting by the Operations team
  • Coordinate with Pricing & Invoicing to ensure overseas and local RFI/RFP/RFQ requests are processed on time with appropriate business unit support
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, sales techniques, and product knowledge through continuous training and professional development

Required Qualifications

  • HND or BSc degree in any field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as a sales professional in the logistics industry
  • Freight forwarding experience (mandatory)
  • Proficiency in import/export procedures
  • Good knowledge of customs practices and tariff classification
  • Strong understanding of INCOTERMS
  • Comprehension of government agency procedures
  • Basic ICT and applications skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional sales or logistics certification
