## Title: Commerce and Accounts Teacher

About the Role

Jesuit Memorial College is seeking a qualified Commerce and Accounts Teacher to join our team. You will plan, prepare, and deliver instruction to students in Senior Secondary School (SSS 1-3) in accordance with the Nigerian National Policy on Education and the regulations of Jesuit Memorial College.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver effective instruction across the complete scheme of work for Accounting
Teach students practical accounting knowledge applicable to everyday life
Serve as a professional role model to students

Required Qualifications

B.Sc Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
Strong command of the English language
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Essential Skills and Attributes

Effective communication and presentation skills
Good understanding of adolescent psychology
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Professional demeanor and commitment to student development

Preferred Qualifications

Higher degree or additional qualification in Accounting
Additional experience in accounting-related fields
