About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Civil Road Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. You will be responsible for resource allocation, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring project objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Planning

• Create and review designs, plans, and specifications for road projects
• Conduct pavement thickness calculations, drainage design, and reinforcement detailing

Site Supervision

• Oversee all on-site construction activities
• Manage labor and machinery resources
• Ensure work aligns with project plans and specifications

Quality Control and Safety

• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance tests on materials and construction
• Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards among all workers

Project Management

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Track material consumption
• Provide regular progress reports to management and clients

Collaboration

• Liaise with surveyors, geotechnical engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities
• Resolve technical issues and ensure project success

Technical Documentation

• Prepare technical reports and cost estimates
• Create as-built drawings and maintain project documentation
• Respond to comments from design reviews

Reporting

• Prepare comprehensive project reports with progress updates and performance metrics
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate project risks promptly
