About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team. This role involves overseeing construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with regulations, quality standards, and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with superiors, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and resource requirements
• Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with COREN regulations, safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
• Monitor construction progress, work quality, and adherence to established schedules
• Supervise and coordinate construction crew members and subcontractors, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure teamwork, productivity, and adherence to project deadlines and quality standards
• Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to ensure construction work meets specifications and client expectations
• Address any deficiencies or deviations from standards promptly
• Coordinate delivery and management of construction materials, tools, and equipment to site
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure efficient resource utilization
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards to promote a safe work environment compliant with occupational health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate project records and document daily construction activities
• Report progress to project managers and provide updates on milestones, issues, and challenges
• Liaise with managers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution
• Evaluate and respond to change orders, modifications, and project scope variations
• Ensure proper documentation and approval processes for all changes
• Identify and address construction-related issues to manage project scope effectively

Required Qualifications

Candidates must be qualified Civil Engineers with demonstrated experience in construction oversight and project management.
