About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Ticketing Officer (CTO) to lead our ticketing operations in Kano. The CTO will oversee ticketing staff, ensure compliance with airline policies and IATA standards, and maintain efficient, accurate, and customer-centric ticketing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the ticketing team, including Airport Ticketing Officers
- Ensure compliance with airline policies, IATA standards, and BSP processes
- Oversee ticket issuance, refunds, reissues, and all ticketing operations
- Monitor and manage ADMs, ACMs, and billing discrepancies
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for ticketing operations
- Coordinate with airline and airport operations to ensure smooth customer service delivery
- Generate ticketing reports, monitor performance metrics, and provide actionable insights
- Train and mentor ticketing staff to enhance efficiency and service quality
Required Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience in airline ticketing operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of IATA rules, BSP, and airline ticketing systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced airport environment
