About the Role

Philomath University is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Chief Security Officer (CSO) to join our team on a full-time basis. In this strategic leadership position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to protect our students, staff, assets, and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee campus-wide security policies, protocols, and procedures
• Lead and manage a team of security professionals, ensuring high performance and accountability
• Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential threats
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maintain a secure environment
• Ensure compliance with local and national security regulations
• Manage emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chief Security Officer or similar senior security role
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
• In-depth knowledge of modern security technology, risk management, and law enforcement coordination
