## Title: Chief Operating Officer – Real Estate

About the Role

Swift Consulting, an Education, Human Resources and Management firm, is recruiting a Chief Operating Officer for one of our clients in the Real Estate sector. This is a senior leadership position based in Lagos, Nigeria, offering the opportunity to drive operational excellence and strategic growth in a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for daily operations, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals
  • Oversee business functions including property development, sales, marketing, legal, finance, and customer service to ensure smooth coordination and high performance
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Develop and implement efficient operational processes, systems, and policies to support growth and profitability
  • Drive business expansion strategies, identify new market opportunities, and strengthen competitive positioning
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate teams to deliver high-quality service and meet performance targets
  • Represent the company in strategic partnerships, negotiations, and high-level stakeholder engagements
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Board to set strategic priorities, manage risks, and ensure sustainable business growth

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or MBA is a plus)
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of senior management experience, preferably within the real estate industry
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and business growth
  • In-depth understanding of real estate markets, trends, and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to build systems, lead teams, and execute large-scale initiatives
