Job Summary

Pally Agro Products Limited seeks a dedicated Chicken Processing Plant Supervisor to oversee all processing operations. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency, maintain quality control, and uphold hygiene and safety standards throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in poultry processing operations, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to effectively manage both people and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the chicken processing plant, ensuring production targets align with established schedules
• Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), food safety protocols, and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Monitor staff performance, allocate duties, and maintain effective workflow on the production floor
• Oversee all stages of chicken processing including slaughtering, dressing, packaging, and storage
• Conduct routine equipment checks to maintain functionality and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs
• Maintain accurate production records and report daily output, wastage, and efficiency metrics
• Train, motivate, and discipline staff to ensure compliance with company policies and productivity standards
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Cold Room, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless operations
• Implement and enforce safety measures, ensuring all workers use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency

Requirements

• OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Animal Science, Food Technology, Agricultural Science, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in poultry processing operations or FMCG production environment
• Strong knowledge of chicken processing procedures, hygiene standards, and quality control practices
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills with demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
